Michelle Fuhr, M.S. LLP, BCBA

Supervising Behavioral Consultant

Michelle Fuhr is the Supervising Behavioral Consultant at our Clinton Township location. Michelle has been with University Pediatricians Autism Center since 2010. Michelle received her bachelor’s of science in psychology, master’s of arts and BCBA at Western Michigan University under Dr. Richard Malott. She has 11 years of experience working with children with severe behaviors, limited communication, and social skill deficits. She is also extensively trained in Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) and is also CPI, CPR, and First Aide certified. Michelle has taught and developed classes for the BCBA Programs at Wayne State University and Oakland University at the master’s level. Michelle teaches the Wayne State University BCBA and BCaBA programs. Her research interests include: language development, attending skills, and identifying and teaching early learning developmental skills. Her favorite class to teach in the BCBA program is treatment planning. Michelle loves to see families and children grow together and making a difference in the families lives. In her free time, Michelle likes to spend time with her daughter and husband.

Administrative Assistant

Michelle Bommarito is the Administrative Assistant at our Clinton township location. She has been working at University Pediatricians Autism Center for a year and a half. Michelle has a bachelor’s of science in human services from Oakland University. Her favorite thing about working with children diagnosed with autism is seeing the positive changes that are helping the children progress in life. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two boys.

Behavioral Consultant

Ashley Kiel is a Behavioral Consultant at our Clinton Township Center. She has been working at University Pediatricians Autism Center since 2014. Ashley received her bachelor’s of science in psychology from Wayne State University and recently completed her master’s degree in educational psychology with a focus in applied behavior analysis. She has experience working as a behavior technician implementing applied behavior analysis strategies and principles for about two years and has started working as a behavioral consultant for about year. Her favorite thing about working with children diagnosed with autism is the different interests that each child has. Ashley’s research interests are resources for pre-teen/teenagers social opportunities and social-skill building. In her free time, she enjoys going to museums, doing crafts, photography and enjoying outdoor related activities.

Behavioral Consultant

Heather Minicili is a Behavioral Consultant at our Clinton Township location. She has been working at University Pediatricians Autism Center since 2009. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Western Michigan University in 2004. She earned her master’s in educational psychology from Wayne State University. Heather has over 13 years of experience in the autism field. She has a special interest in developing natural play-based programs that incorporate language, socialization and play and leisure skills through ABA principles. Heather loves to watch all the new things that the children are learning and seeing how grateful the families are. In her free time, she enjoys riding her horse and teaching her dog new tricks.

BCBA Behavioral Consultant

Stephanie Yee is a Behavioral Consultant at the Clinton Township location. Stephanie has been working at UPAC since 2014. She has a bachelor’s of science in psychology from Wayne State University and is recently completed her masters in educational psychology with an BCBA certificate. Stephanie loves watching her clients learn and grow. In her spare time, she enjoys playing piano, running and watching the Red Wings.

Lead Registered Behavior Technician

Kayla Brown is a Lead Registered Behavior Technician at our Clinton Township location. She has been working for UPAC since 2016. Kayla earned a bachelor’s of arts degree in psychology with a minor in sociology from Wayne State University. She is currently enrolled in masters of educational psychology with a BCBA course sequence from Wayne State University. Kayla volunteered with the special Olympics of Michigan and Play Place for autistic children before working at UPAC. Her favorite thing about working with children diagnosed with autism is teaching the children skills that will be useful for them in their everyday life. In her free time, she enjoys riding her bike, hiking, kayaking and relaxing in her hammock.

Lead Registered Behavior Technician

Marilyn Harris is a Lead Registered Behavior Technician at Clinton Township location. She has been working at University Pediatricians Autism Center since 2016. Marilyn received her bachelor’s of science in psychology from University of Michigan Flint and is currently working towards her masters in educational psychology with an BCBA certificate. Her favorite thing about working with children diagnosed with autism is seeing the children make progress, playing with the kids and seeing them smile. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
